To align with the EU’s new 2026 customs regulations and help you avoid cargo detention, returns, delivery delays and extra charges, we are issuing this compliance notice to support smooth customs clearance and on-time order delivery.
Updated Packaging Standards
To ensure smooth EU customs inspection, we have upgraded our packaging rules for all EU-bound shipments:
· UN dangerous goods packaging boxes are strictly prohibited.
· No battery marks, prohibited diamond symbols, or any hazard warning texts/graphics may appear on outer packaging.
Any extra costs caused by non-compliant packaging will be borne by the shipper in accordance with logistics terms.
Meanwhile, the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) officially took effect on August 12th,2026 The regulation sets mandatory requirements on packaging material composition, recyclability and reusability for all imported goods, with stricter controls for food-contact packaging. Non-compliant packaging will directly result in customs hold-ups. As this is a long-term regulatory requirement, we have already upgraded our packaging solutions for EU orders to meet the latest environmental standards.
Customs Taxation & Required Documentation
The EU has officially abolished the €150 import duty-free threshold. All goods entering EU are now fully subject to taxation, with tightened review procedures. We require your cooperation on the following:
1.Please specify the transaction type when placing orders to avoid cargo detention due to missing information.
2.Please provide your valid VAT number and EORI number in advance. Both numbers are required for normal customs clearance and tax payment.
