Quality and dimensional accuracy have always been important checkpoints. For applications like aerospace units, robotics assemblies, industrial equipment parts, or electronic components, the quality and dimensional accuracy of a part directly determines whether it can be used or not. To make sure the finished parts meet customers' standards and specifications, we implement a complete quality inspection system throughout the manufacturing process, supported by advanced measuring equipment and experienced QC teams.
The first phase of quality inspection begins before the manufacturing. The engineering team will review the drawings and double check a series of details, such as:
· Are those specific designs and tolerances achievable?
· Is there any mismatch between 2D drawings and 3D model?
· How to ensure dimensional accuracy before and after surface finish?
After inspection and confirmation, the engineering team is able to make a processing plan that ensures the part can meet the quality standards. At the same time, the raw material will also be checked to match the corresponding material of the parts.
Before mass production, we will arrange FAI(First Article Inspection) to recheck if the planned process is capable of making parts that meet the requirements of dimension, surface quality, etc. The inspection team and engineering team will correct the potential mistakes and improve the process based on the FAI report and customers' opinions.
During the process, IPQC is arranged in several checkpoints of manufacturing. By checking the current dimension and quality of workpieces, the teams will review the current plan to make sure the incoming process and surface finish won’t affect the quality of finished parts. Should there be any progress or problem, we will also inform our customers about current details.
After all parts are completed, the inspection team will strictly measure the visual quality and final dimensions based on the drawings and customers’ requirement. Supported with various precision measuring devices, we are capable of checking tight-tolerance-sizes even in complex structure. After checking, we also send the inspection report and images of finished parts to let customers know the result. In after-sale service, we also recheck the drawings and inspection reports to investigate the details based on customers’ feedback.
