The following sections are required for this project. (Wood)(LWH)-in inches-770.
25 pieces of plywood (Thin Wood)-60. 753. 5 Wood (2 pieces )-
2 of the same piece of wood-
Belt with teeth
16 inch long metal rod (
5/16 inch in diameter)(2 pieces )-Epoxy-
5 Nylon gaskets, perfect for the surrounding of the metal rod. -2 Washers-
1 step motor-
1 ScrewNow cut the wood into the dimensions shown in the parts list. -
The first piece you need cute is your plywood (thin wood).
You need to cut it into 7 inch long, 7 inch wide and 0 wide. Thickness 25 inch-
The second and third pieces of wood (
They are the same size)
You need to cut it to 6 inch long 0.
75 inch wide by 3. 5 inches tall.
* Remember you need 2 pieces!
* Now keep grinding them down in order to make them smooth so you don\'t have any rough edges.
Now we need to drill holes so that the rod can stick to the wood.
Grab two pieces of wood in size 6 inch long 0.
75 inch wide by 3. 5 inches tall.
Now we want to mark the hole near the edge but not too close. Mark 0.
5 inch down from the top of the wood.
Do a line so you know where to mark.
Now Mark 1 inch from the side of the wood to the middle.
Make a cross hatch to show the exact location of where you are drilling.
You need to drill holes here.
* Drill only half of the wood * for better visualization, check the picture and put the rod into the hole to make sure everything is OK and fit closely in the hole.
Should look like the one in the picture :)
Now, we need to mark where the spacers need to arrive at the bottom of the platform.
The measured value between the two metal rods is exactly 4 inch, which means that the gasket on the plate needs to be 4 inch apart on both sides.
I have added two gaskets on each side of the board so that I can maintain maximum stability on the platform.
I first marked the location of rails on the platform. Then I marked 1.
5 inch from the edge of the platform, so it will form a cross on the track.
This will be where I need to place the gasket.
Use your 2 part epoxy right now, please make sure these gaskets are aligned neatly!
Now apply the gasket epoxy to the plate so that they remain in place.
Let the epoxy cure for about an hour.
Test the board to see if it can move fluently.
Make sure it doesn\'t stick to the rails.
Mark holes on wood.
Therefore, on the first piece of wood, get the wood with a size of 6 inch long and a length of 0.
75 inch wide by 3. 5 inches tall.

To get these two pieces of wood, they have to drill holes to fix the rails.
Now what I do is measure it from the edge.
So it\'s 2 from left to middle. 75 inches.
2 from the right. 75 inches also. There is a 0.
There is a 5 inch gap between these markers.
Now, do this for both pieces of wood and drill holes with a small piece of small hole enough for a nylon or fishing line to go through.
Now you need to add a screw to the bottom platform.
In this way, the string can be connected to the platform without pulling the line.
You want the screw to be either on one side of the hole you just drilled or on the other side.
You want to center the screw, but please make sure it is on both sides of the hole you just drilled so that the straight line and flush.
Epoxy the screw onto the platform and let it sit for an hour to solidify.
Now what you want to do is make spacers for the other side of the platform.
This is because when the stepping motor on the other side pulls the platform, it wraps the gasket on the other side and then goes back to the stepping motor.
Look at the pictures if you need help.
Now, epoxy these washers onto this Nylon nut and then we\'ll put it on the board later!
Add a piece of wood on one side without a stepping motor.
It should be under the hole so that once you put the nylon gasket on the belt on it you can go through it smoothly.
Now, depending on what your stepping motor looks like and how you put it there, you need to make sure the rod rotates straight and pretty even if it has holes.
Now, I fix my stepping motor on two pieces of wood so that it doesn\'t move and there will be a good solid foundation.
It\'s a belt now.
I wound the belt around the stepping motor and fed it through the hole and when I got to the platform I stuck the belt to the screw with epoxy.
I feed it all the time to the other side of the structure, then wrap it around the nylon gasket, then stick the end of the belt to myself to make sure it\'s tight and doesn\'t rattle! ! !
